Trip to Mount Holdsworth

Today Room's 4 and 5 went to Mount Holdsworth. We had a great time. We had a scavenger hunt, a bush walk, a technological challenge and some team games. Thanks to all our parent helpers who we couldn't have done it without. 

Charlie's Chicks

Charlie brought his chicks into show us today. They are 3 weeks old and his favourite one is called penguin. 

Making Silver Ferns

Today is our ignition day and we are firing  up our passion for art by creating a mixed media silver fern. We are also using our inquiry language of reflecting, translucent, iridescent and opaque. 

White Ribbon Riders

We have really enjoyed listening to the anti-bullying and respect message that the riders gave us today. 

Tom's Art

 

Tom showed us how to do some firework art. He was our expert for the afternoon. 

Room 4's colouring club

Everyone is really enjoying doing their lunch time colouring at Lynley's colouring club.  Children from all the junior classes are working together and having a great time. 

Judging on pet day

After a hard morning creating all our wonderful exhibits it's the exciting time of finding out the results!
